The Hepard is being designed as small, fast, quiet, low-maintenance, and low-cost urban transport and comes in two models, an “urban” and “sport” model, which namely offers 1 or 2 seat configurations, as well as a co-pilot manual mode in the 2 seat version. Safety is a priority and is achieved through multiple redundancy which provides extreme fault tolerance.

“Hepard” is Azerbaijani for “cheetah.”

The Blockchain consortium is the first crypto-currency platform for mass urban aviation, whose task is to automate the charging, maintenance and parking of flying cars: “Blockchain.aero is a blockchain for mass urban aviation market and a platform to tokenize aerial vehicles and infrastructure. We are a decentralized business consortium that aims to deploy urban community-driven aviation systems for passengers and city managers in 2020. First test flights are aimed for Dubai, Singapore or Sydney in 2018.” Flight scheduling will be done via a mobile application and will offer different levels of service from fast to entertainment flight.
