Samad Aerospace is developing what it calls a Home & Urban Mobility Aircraft (HUMA™) which has three modules, a passenger pod for two (2) passengers, a wheel base for road travel and a flight module for the eVTOL aircraft portion of this vehicle. The pod, road and air module are all powered by batteries for an all electric modular urban transportation vehicle.

Samad Aerospace is a disruptive technology start-up in the UK aerospace industry; committed to accelerate the development of the future ecosystem of aviation through the design and development of electric and hybrid-electric vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft to improve connectivity and civilian air transportation worldwide. The design of the aircraft addresses all of the key criteria tailored to the urban mobility market: minimum acquisition and operating costs, as well as improved efficiency and ease in air travel. It has been reported that the aircraft can carry a load of 441 lbs (200KG), its cruising speed is 125 mph (201 kmh) and it’s range will be 86.9 nautical miles. These statistics as of this time, are not on the company’s website. It has also been reported there is a hybrid-electric version of this VTOL aircraft but again, it can’t be confirmed per the Samad Aerospace website.

No physical models, mock-ups or prototypes have been shown as of May 2019 and to date, only two (2) images of this eVTOL concept aircraft are available online.
