In 2018, it was announced they were developing the X01, an autonomous two (2) passenger electric Vertical Take-off And Landing (eVTOL) aircraft using multiple electric fans and wings. In November 2018, Electric Visionary Aircrafts announced another new concept eVTOL model called the Valkyr. No test-beds, sub-scale prototype or full-scale prototype for either models have been announced by the company.

Electric Visionary Aircrafts’ Mission: We dream of a future in which anyone can fly anytime, everywhere with no traffic stress and pollution. To open a third dimension in our cities EVA develops a disruptive and cutting-edge compact electric VTOL technology. Our technology shall improve people’s life with less stress, less pollution and even advanced rescue capability.

From Electric Visionary Aircrafts website.

The Valkyr is a concept for an autonomous futuristic looking eVTOL logistics aircraft will embed best-in-class artificial intelligence (AI) and navigation sensors and will be capable of operations through a smart phone. It has been developed to tackle quick solutions for healthcare, rescue, wildfire monitoring, 3D mapping, parcel delivery, and more.

The Valkyr will be made to carry as many or few battery packs depending upon the length of the expected flight. There is no mention as to how many people the Valkyr can carry or the maximum weight for passengers or if it is designed for only cargo. The company also states that an air taxi solution is 10 times faster than a car during peak traffic times and is 10 times cheaper to operate than a helicopter.
