The information provided here is as accurate as possible; however, eVTOL information from China is sometimes sparse, incomplete or conflicting. China is promoting what they call the "low-altitude economy" — a new push for general aviation — which includes both crewed and uncrewed passenger and air cargo eVTOL aircraft.

United Aircraft was founded in 2014 in Shenzhen, China. The company designs and manufactures many types of uncrewed VTOL drones with conventional power sources. The company has made the Lanying R6000 that is the world's first tiltrotor 6-ton conventionally powered drone. The first test flight of the Lanying R6000 was on December 28, 2025. The company manufactures one heavy-lift uncrewed agricultural electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) drone specifically made for agricultural use.

The Q100 is a remote controlled heavy-lift agricultural eVTOL drone. The drone is used for pest control, fertilization, seeding and fishery feed delivery. The drone has a terrain-following radar and has an obstacle avoidance system.

The cruise speed of the drone is 50 km/h (31 mph), has a range of 2 km (1.3 m) and has a maximum cruise altitude of 30 m (98 ft). The drone has four propellers, four electric motors and is powered by batteries. The maximum payload weight is 65 kg (143 lb). The drone has fixed skid landing gear.

Specifications:

  • Aircraft type: Agricultural eVTOL drone (production model)
  • Piloting: Remote controlled
  • Capacity: Seeds, fertilizer, feed and liquid
  • Cruise speed: 50 km/h (31 mph)
  • Range: 2 km (1.3 m)
  • Maximum cruise altitude: 30 m (98 ft)
  • Maximum payload weight: 65 kg (143 lb)
  • Propellers: 4 propellers
  • Electric motors: 4 electric motors
  • Power source: Battery packs
  • Landing gear: Fixed skid landing gear
  • Safety features: Distributed Electric Propulsion (DEP) uses multiple propellers or electric ducted fans, each powered by electric motors, to increase safety through redundancy. If one or more components fail, the remaining ones can still ensure a safe landing. There are also redundancies of critical components in the sub-systems of the aircraft providing safety through redundancy. Having multiple redundant systems on any aircraft decreases having any single point of failure. The aircraft has no moving surfaces or tilting parts when transitioning from vertical to forward flight and the reverse which increases safety by reducing complexity.
