In 2021, Brett Northey, CEO, founded ACE VTOL in Perth, Western Australia, Australia. The company's goal is to design and manufacturer electric vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft for advanced air mobility (AAM). The company has also stated their aircraft will be able to accept a hybrid-electric power source. The company is in the design stage of its aircraft and has a small staff. GT Slipstream high performance two passenger eVTOL concept design aircraft
The GT Slipstream is a limited edition two passenger high performance eVTOL concept design aircraft for advanced air mobility. The aircraft has four Arc Reaction Engines (ARE) located on the four corners of the aircraft and are used for all directions of flight, including forward flight, backwards flight, vertical flight and turning the aircraft. The aircraft has precision aerodynamics allowing it to land in tight spaces, such as a space in a parking lot. While specifications have not been released (as of June 2023), the aircraft is remotely piloted, is a high performance aircraft, has GT trim, racing seats and can be flown manually or remotely.

GT Slipstream piloting and wing configuration
The aircraft will be flown using a low earth orbit satellite-hosted blockchain and an artificial intelligence (AI) flight management system with a virtual reality (VR) pilot interface. This will allow the company to remotely operate the aircraft at any location on the planet with minimal hardware. The aircraft has no wings and has retractable quadricycle strut landing gear.
The dual redundant SaaS system is designed to ensure the eVTOL aircraft's safe operation by providing two independent systems, one for engineering and the other for flight management. The FMS uses Blockchain and Holochain technologies to create a tamper-proof record, ensuring that every eVTOL aircraft maintenance and operation adhere to industry standards before every flight.

GT Slipstream Arc Reaction Engine powered by batteries
The company is using Arc Reaction Engines (ARE) which are advanced fluidics electric engines that combines heat from a continuous plasma arc into the central inductive airflow that increases the thrust performance. Each Arc engine pod uses three electric motors for a total of twelve electric motors for the propulsion of the GT Slipstream aircraft. The aircraft is powered with batteries that have an eight second recharging cycle. The aircraft also has atmospheric ion in-flight recharging, also called scavenge recharging. That is, the aircraft can recharge its batteries as it flies. The aircraft has also been made to accept hydrogen fuel cells for its power source. The aircraft has a three stage safety redundancy built into its systems.

Safety features: Distributed Electric Propulsion (DEP), provides safety through redundancy for its passengers and/or cargo. DEP means having multiple propellers (or ducted fans) and motors on the aircraft so if one or more propellers (ducted fans) or motors fail, the other working propellers (or ducted fans) and motors can safely land the aircraft. The aircraft has a three stage safety redundancy built into its systems.
