The information provided here is as accurate as possible; however, eVTOL information from China is sometimes sparse, incomplete or conflicting. China is promoting what they call the "low-altitude economy" — a new push for general aviation — which includes both crewed and uncrewed passenger and air cargo eVTOL aircraft.

While not much is known about the Kemi Technology (Shenzhen) Company, we believe they make multiple types of products. The company is in the process of designing a passenger electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTO) aircraft. The concept design has a Lift+Cruise configuration with a magnetic levitation system to help the aircraft take off quietly.

Magnetic Levitation Crewed Flying Saucer passenger eVTOL concept design aircraft
The Magnetic Levitation Crewed Flying Saucer is a passenger eVTOL concept design aircraft. The aircraft has one pilot, carries up to five passengers and their luggage. To reduce the noise during take off and landing, the company invented a system to use magnetic levitation technology to help lift the aircraft during VTOL flight. The company expects its magnetic levitation technology will reduce takeoff noise below 30 dB.

The aircraft has two main lift propellers embedded in its delta wing and two rear propellers for forward flight, on its V-tail. While the cruise speed has not been revealed, the company has estimate the range of the aircraft to be 500 km (310 miles). The maximum payload weight for the aircraft is 600–1,000 kg (1,322–2,205 lb). The fuselage is made from carbon fiber composite to give the aircraft a high strength to low weight ratio. The aircraft has retractable tricycle wheeled landing gear.

The company has stated they will have advanced flight control, a fault detection system with self-diagnosis and collision-free technology. In August 2024, the company applied for a patent titled, Magnetic Levitation Power System and Magnetic Levitation Manned Flying Saucer.

All concept design aircraft specifications are estimated and can or will change as prototypes and production models are made, tested and flown with real world avionics, components and payloads.
