Ascendance Finds Manufacturing Partners

Ascendance Flight Technologies, a Toulouse-based eVTOL developer, announced on June 22 at the Paris Air Show that it would collaborate with Solvay and Airborne. The Belgian firm Solvay, which is also working with the UK’s Vertical Aerospace, will contribute its expertise in advanced composite materials. Airborne, a Dutch company, will work with Ascendance on manufacturing aerospace structures and industrialization. “We know that no one can bring aviation to a new era alone, which is why we are collaborating with some of the brightest partners in the market to make cleaner aviation a reality together,” said Ascendance CEO Jean-Christophe Lambert in a statement.
