Kitty Hawk Heaviside Update

Kitty Hawk released a 14-minute video on Oct. 14, chronicling the 10-year achievements of the company. The video appears to have been made in early 2020 (perhaps for an award nomination) and reports on the 2019 progress of its Heaviside single-seat, high-performance eVTOL aircraft. Notably, the company said that last year it completed 237+ successful transitions from hover to forward flight and demonstrated a range of 100 miles (160 km) on a single charge, a 180 mph (290 km/h) speed and that it was “100x quieter than a helicopter.” (Source: Kitty Hawk)
