MightyFly Surpasses 100 Flights

In March, MightyFly announced that it has conducted more than 100 hover flights with the Cento, its autonomous VTOL cargo drone that’s targeted for business-to-business (B2B) delivery applications. The tests have sought to evaluate the aircraft’s electrical system and autonomy. “Achieving and surpassing 100 autonomous hover test flights is an important achievement for us and it unlocks the next steps in our flight testing program in preparation for the Proof of Concepts with the B2B customers,” said CEO Manal Habib in a statement. MightyFly formally unveiled the Cento, an improved version of its MF-100 drone, in January; it has been testing the aircraft since December (see “MightyFly Unveils Cento Delivery Drone,” Vertiflite, March/April 2023).
