Spain Invests in Crisalion Mobility

Spanish eVTOL aircraft developer Crisalion Mobility (formerly Umiles Next) announced on Jan. 10 that it was selected by CDTI Innovación and Cuyam (Grupo Valdemira) for a total investment of €5.4M ($5.9M). Crisalion was one of several companies selected by CDTI Innovación, a public entity under Spain’s Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, for grants through its Innvierte Economía Sostenible initiative, which aims to facilitate financing for technology companies. Crisalion is working with investment bank BlueBull on an upcoming €25M ($27M) Series B funding round. The company plans to make new road mobility a real alternative by 2024 and field their Integrity eVTOL aircraft by 2030.
