TCab Gets More Funding

TCab Tech, a Shanghai-based eVTOL developer, announced on Feb. 8 that it completed a 100M yuan ($14.7M) financing round. The pre-Series A funding round was led by Grand Flight, as well as Kunlun Capital, KIP Capital, and the shareholders of BlueRun Ventures and Decent Capital, the investment firm of Tencent co-founder Zeng Liqing. In a press release, TCab Tech, which was founded in 2021, said that the funds would allow for the development, manufacturing and flight testing of a full-scale prototype of its E20 eVTOL. According to the VFS World eVTOL Aircraft Directory, the E20 is expected to have a capacity of four passengers (plus the pilot) and a range of 200 km (125 miles).
