Vertiia Comes Together for Good

Sydney, Australia-based AMSL Aero was founded in June 2017 by Andrew Moore (AM) and Siobhan Lyndon (SL). The group has flown 1/5-scale models and has now unveiled its full-scale eVTOL tilt-propeller demonstrator. The all-electric AMSL Vertiia is designed to carry six people at 186 mph (300 km/h) and a range of 155 miles (250 km). In November, the Australian emergency medical service helicopter operator Careflight and AMSL announced that a partnership that seeks to have the Vertiia certified and flying medical missions by 2023, providing safe and fast medical transport to vulnerable areas in Australia and abroad.
