White Paper: "Demystifying Advanced Air Mobility (AAM)"

Vertical Flight Society (VFS) member Eric Schiff has written a comprehensive report to help members of the public understand the burgeoning electric aircraft field. This 100+ page "Demystifying Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) White Paper" (V1.1) is a broad overview of the advanced air mobility industry to support understanding by the public and relevant stakeholders.

Schiff was inspired by attending Society's 2024 Transformative Vertical Flight conference in February 2024 and decided to develop a document that could be used by anyone new to AAM, or those who would like a deeper understanding of the breadth and depth of this new aviation segment. Schiff writes that he hopes that the timeliness of the white paper "may be useful prior to the upcoming certification and entry into service of advanced air mobility products." 

Schiff used the Society's network and extensive resources on electric aviation and vertical flight to develop his independent report, working with dozens of companies and individuals to produce a unique document. Readers are encouraged to provide feedback to Schiff through his LinkedIn account.
